It isn't easy to keep making a sports
title that people will buy every year, especially gamers who have bought the
previous version of the game released the year before. But somehow, EA Sports
keeps making enough improvements to its MADDEN series for gamers to keep
buying. This year, EA Sports did more than just improve over last year's game,
they made MADDEN 2004 one of the best football games ever madeLike all of the
previous MADDENs, the game looks great. Since MADDEN 2001 on the Playstation 2,
the game has received some tweaks and tiny graphical improvements, but the
game's interface remains basically the same. The player models have been
improved a little, and the sideline animations have been improved as well. The
stadiums still look as realistic as ever, and the type of field you're playing
on also has significance to the game (grass fields will degrade over time)My

2003 Los Angeles vs. Minnesota, Game 4.
In the middle of the 2003 season the NBA declared that the first round of the
playoffs, which up until that point had been decided by a best of five series,
would be extended to best of seven. This is considered by many to help the
Lakers, as they had been playing poorly for most of the season and now the team
that must face them needs to beat them four times instead of three and must
play an extra game in Los Angeles. There was a 25-6 disparity in free throws
awarded in the third and fourth quarters. Then, with 23 seconds left, Kobe
Bryant was given a four-point play much like Larry Johnson in 1999. Kobe was
given two more free throws on the Lakers final possession, but he missed one,
sending the game into overtime where Minnesota was able to prevail 114-110. nfl

While I get what Anon User is saying
(and don discount it entirely), I think it has less to do with the big stage of
it all and more to do with the fact that these refs just haven had the time to
get acclimated to the level of play at the NFL. Things are happening at a
faster pace than nearly any of them have seen before and so they more likely to
be out of position when they make a call. They had a vastly limited amount of
time to get acquainted with the rule changes from the varying levels from which
they come and they thrown together with people they never worked with before
(and whom they barely know anything about), nfl jerseys wholesale
leading to there being a low level of trust between
referees and making it harder for them to work together to see if they can as a
group, work out a better result. When you put all of that on top of the fact
that these aren the most skilled referees to begin with, you compound the
issue.
