While I get what Anon User is saying (and don discount it entirely), I think it has less to do with the big stage of it all and more to do with the fact that these refs just haven had the time to get acclimated to the level of play at the NFL. Things are happening at a faster pace than nearly any of them have seen before and so they more likely to be out of position when they make a call.
