you know you had very little to do with this

On October 5, 2012, it wasn't about Adam's at-bat. It wasn't about Adam making it back to the MLB again. It wasn't even about Adam striking out on his second at-bat with the Marlins. It was about how his story has inspired us to persevere. I personally think Matt Liston should get the credit for his efforts. Of the many to be shocked about Adam's first bat, it was Liston who stood on the side of Adam, and thought, "Gee, that kid is going through some tough times. I can't imagine how I would be feeling if I was like that." Instead of ignoring the matter or "feeling sorry," Liston took this to WHOLE another level. He made a change. He was daring and stood up for a total stranger. He felt sorrowful and empathetic towards Adam. I think this is a great example to learn from in regular day-to-day activities. This is how we should feel about helping each other. In life, people make mistakes and other people should be willing to offer another shot for those who learn from their mistakes. America is a country full of opportunities for the people who work hard, but if you miss a chance, there are people around us with big hearts to make sure you get a SECOND CHANCE!!! discount football jerseys

is the awesome catcher for the Cal State Fullerton baseball team, which Sheri and I went and saw play last night. Thanks to Kurt  awesome playing, we e going to the World Series in Omaha! Go Titans! (excuse the cheerleader moment). I also grew to love Kurt, whose catching skills were awesome (he was the relief catcher?the other catcher sucked ass and kept dropping the ball or overthrowing it). He also hit two home runs last night, and in the 9th inning got a triple, propelling the Titans to score four times in the 9th and winning the game (the final score was 10-7). Kurt was also a second round pick in the MLB draft for the Oakland A . It was way awesome, although the dude next to us was a fan of the other team and kept saying that the Umpire (after some admittedly questionable calls) was being paid off. Ha. Like CSUF HAS the money to pay off a Umpire. That started an argument with the guy in front of us and all we heard was them bitching back and forth all night. The guy from CSUF called the Tulane guy a racist (the Umpire was black) which was rather uncalled for. Those two made it very unpleasant for the rest of us. It  sure to be an en-lighten-ing experience. discount nfl jerseys

Unfortunately, fully a quarter of the World Series this century have been won by the New York Yankees, probably both the most-loved and most-hated team in the history of baseball. Meanwhile the Agony of being a Chicago Cubs Fan is well documented. Forever the lovable losers, they have not been in a Series since 1948 and have not won since 1908. And of course no discussion of the World Series would be complete without the Boston Red Sox, who traded Babe Ruth between 1919 and 1920 seasons and have not been champions since. Conclusive proof of the disfavour of the baseball gods was seen in 1986, when what would have been the third out to win for the BoSox managed to slip by first baseman Bill Buckner after taking a mysterious bad hop on a rock which apparently didn't exist. They went on to lose the game, and the 'curse of the Bambino' continues to this day. www.discountnfljerseysfromchina.com
